These terms govern your use of EV Charging Calculator at evchargingcalculator.co.uk (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

EV Charging Calculator is operated by Supra Digital, a sole trader registered in England and Wales. Our contact details are on the About page. You can reach us by email at [email protected].

2. What the Site is

EV Charging Calculator provides reference information about charging UK electric vehicles, including:

The calculator outputs are estimates based on our model and published manufacturer specifications. Real-world results vary based on individual vehicle condition, ambient temperature, driving style and other factors.

3. How you may use the Site

You are welcome to:

4. How you may not use the Site

You may not, without our prior written permission:

If your intended use isn't clearly personal — for example, you're a charging network operator, an OEM, a fleet management platform, an insurance provider or a news publisher producing substantial editorial coverage — please get in touch at [email protected] before using our content. Commercial licensing is available and pricing depends on the use case.

5. The charging curve model

The charging curve model on this Site — the algorithm, the cell chemistry parameters, the calibration approach and the derived outputs — is the proprietary intellectual property of Supra Digital. We have developed it from first principles using publicly available manufacturer specifications and calibrated it through our own editorial process.

We share the methodology openly on our Methodology page because transparency is part of why the model is trustworthy. Publishing the methodology is not a grant of licence — the model itself and the parameters that make it work remain protected as our intellectual property.

Specifically, the following are protected:

Use of the Site implies a personal-use licence to interact with these outputs. It does not transfer any ownership or grant any other licence.

6. Accuracy and disclaimers

We work hard to keep the data on this Site accurate and current. The model is calibrated against publicly known performance benchmarks for each car. However:

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or change any aspect of the Site at any time.

7. Affiliate links and disclosures

This Site may contain affiliate links to products and services from third parties (such as home charger installers, EV salary sacrifice schemes and energy tariffs). When you click an affiliate link and proceed to purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate links are clearly marked. They never influence our rankings, recommendations or the data shown by our calculators. Where we recommend a product, we do so because we believe it's a good fit for the use case described, not because the affiliate rate is better than alternatives.

For full details, see our About page.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law:

Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These limitations apply equally to anyone who provided content or contributions to the Site.

9. Privacy

We collect minimal personal information:

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, do not collect email addresses unless you contact us directly, and do not sell or share visitor data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes implies acceptance of the new terms. For substantive changes, we'll add a notice on the Site for at least 30 days.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales, except that you may bring claims in your local jurisdiction if you have consumer rights that apply there.

If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.

12. Contact

Questions, corrections, licensing enquiries and dispute notifications all go to [email protected].

If you spot an error in the data, please tell us — we read every email and act on corrections quickly.
